Penny, thats great. IF you have a spare min anytime, would you do a quick look-up? Doesnt matter if you cant. I have Jeremiah/Jerimiah Markham marrying a Letitia Alibant/Allibant in Deddington, Oxon, in 1801; but am unable to find anything out about her. A number of people are trying to research this line. Then I have Jeremiah having 2 sons (the 1st born c1815, but his mother was Mary. So Letitia must have died...then I think, maybe Letitia's Jeremiah was a different Jeremiah! 'My' Jeremiah was born c1779. Unfortunately I dont have Mary's maiden name. I dont know if Letitia & Jeremiah had children, either. Rebekah.

www.ukbmd.org.uk has list of useful links, not only at a national level and of Local ROs, but also listed by County. It might be worth a look there to see what you can find. Oxford FHS has a website, but tends not to have online records, in my experience. They do have very handy CDs of PR transcriptions... but now I want to go and find the originals! - at least I'll know what to look for and where and when. Christine

Alan Clarke has a Northants web site. Norman Tew has a Roade Families site. Google for both of these. Marie

'Family History' is a vague discription I know, but anything will do! Ive discovered Pickards Pink Pages for Warks; and Worksworth for Derbys, but for my husbands tree, really need to be looking at the Northants and Oxon area.
