It's working now, for the moment. It flashed on the image viewer download, then went to the actual image. Trouble is this sometimes does happen when I restart the computer. Will see how long it works for. I did do a system restore, took it back to 30 June. But, like I said, it's the same when restarting the computer. Doesn't explain why it's doing the same on a second computer though does it? Margaret |

Mary and I both had this prob recently - and my Ancestry has only just been resolved after 3 weeks!! All I did today was half-heartedly try it again to see if it worked, and it didnt. I pressed F5 to refresh the page...and hey presto, Im on! Finally. |

Julie Have deleted cookies. Still the same. I will try logging out and then back in again. It has been happening for about a week now, some days I can view images, then like today I can't. It's driving me mad. Update: No, it's still doing it. |

hiya, if you try and view the image, and goto, basic viewer will image load??? Julie if this is the case, and image will load under basic viewer, then go into your browsing history and del all cookies, this should rectify problem, re log back into ancestry and try again, i had this problem about 2 weeks ago, but touch wood has been ok since i got rid of cookies Julie |

As far as I am aware, Ancestry doesnt use adobe to view the images. The one I have downloaded and keeps wanting me to install is MFInstall.exe published by MyFamily.*com Inc Should have said, I have had Ancestry for about 3 years now and never had this problem before |

I am paid member of Ancestry. I am logged in. Whenever I try to view an image, whether BMD or Census, a screen constantly flashes telling me I need to download the viewer. I have had this viewer installed for ages. Even if I try to download it again, the flashing screen comes back. I have emailed Ancestry, but I wondered if anyone else was having the same problem. Oh, and I have tried on another computer and it does the same on that one. Margaret |
