If you put ''German'' in the thread-search box, it should pull up a thread I started for German Tips - and Joe from Bexleyheath has contributed a load of really useful info. Christine |

Hi Everyone. I have had quite a bit of success tracing my family tree over the past month and it is quite detailed back to the point when they came over from Ireland. Even though I have still got a lot of sorting, confirming and recording to do, I am thinking of looking into my partner's family history. The only problem is that she is half Irish, a quater English, and a quater German. Does anyone have any advice as to how I would begin tracing the German side? Many thanks, Matt |
