Thanks for that Tom dont really know what the difference is seems all the chores are the same to me all a load of .........LOL Cannot work out what sounds better a servant or labourer!!!!! Thanks Gwen

I've had ones called labourers and / or servants. Think it depends on the enumerator, or maybe the job was slightly different (heavy digging compared to cleaning out the cow shed maybe? lol)

I thought it might be but found it a bit unusal are they not usually called Farm Labourers. Gwen

farm servant, and relationship is servant too.

what do you think the occupation reads is it Farm Labourer for John and Charles.
