I'm looking for a marriage between George Sedgwick and Amy. They may have married in Scotland. Can't find a marriage for them in England and Wales. George Sedgwick is single in 1891 but on 1901 census is married to Amy (possible surname Elsmore). They are also married in 1894 on their daughter's birth certificate. I'm wondering whether they went across the border to get married. Its a long short can anyone help. |

A possible alternative is that they just 'claimed' to married - sometimes a marriage is years later. Can you find an earlier marriage for just one of them? Jay |

I've replied to your other nearly identical thread. No sign of a marriage in that time-frame. J |
