Wonder if anyone out there can help; My comp has started to want to boot up from A drive and I carnt get it to go back to C drive;; Babs |

Sorry what has happened was , on Sat when I started it up it started and said could be a problem with hardware or some software;; but it started and I used it for a while , went a message then when I got back it had froze so had to do manual shutdown;; When this happened it came saying it wanted to boot from A drive tried to change to C drive but wouldnt have it ;; Now it just opens with Core ? at begining then you cannot do anything now ;;;Help;; Babs PS using friends at his house now ;; |

Are you getting as far as your normal desktop, or is this happening before it loads windows? (If it's the latter, I haven't a clue, Babs - sorry) Jay |

Janet carnt get into Windows or anything just 1st sctreen Core ? then writing but carnt remember what it says ;; but carnt go any further than that;; Babs |

Oh dear Babs - I am so sorry, but I'm not knowledgable enough to help you. I know they can be started up in 'safe mode', but haven't a clue how to do this. Are there any previous threads that would help, or can you pm any of the GR computer buffs? Jay |
