Can't read occupation 1901 Census

I have a relation, Thomas Mitchell, who appears in C1901 (RG13/2864/185 Pg36) with his wife Annie. His father was an electro-plate engraver, and his son's occupation is related, but I can't make it out. Anyone? |

Sorry - I meant that Thomas Mitchell's own father was an electro-plate engraver, and he followed in his own father's footsteps. It seems to say electri? plate something? |
