Did you ancestor serve in the Army, Navy or RAF? If so why not post here their name, regiment and service info. You never know, another GCmembers rellie might have served alongside your person and may have information or pictures of your ancestors. George Sunley fought with the Royal Artillery as a gunner, 118th Bty. 26th Bde. I also have pictures taken in Catterick Camp during WW2 of several large groups of soldiers as my grandfather Arnold Willis Little was an instructor there. |

Hi My Uncle John Holland was in the RAF 1940s Stationed in Canada, think he landed in Prince Edward (Edwaed) island 1942 , where he met & married Grace and they had a son John Wayne Holland 1945- 47 any help wll be appreciated Thanks Sandra |

Just as I was having another search for my great grandfather's military history I read your thread. William Young 7th Dragoon Guards stationed at Maidstone Barracks around 1870. Had left army by 1881. Also his son - my grandfather John Hansell Young - served in the first world war in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. Sandy |

My father Peter Logan served with the Royal Horse Artillery in WW2 Dad had the Africa Star but sadly has passed away now so can't ask him where he served. He was also in lndia patrolling the borders before the war with The King's Regiment Dad was from Liverpool Pam |
