I am quite new to this but here's a hint (if you don't know already that is!) Through Scotlandspeople you actually get the extract from the registers on screen, 3 to a page. I always read the others through sheer nosiness more than anything else. Doing that today, I found one of my ancestor's entry for an illegitimate child she had when she was 42. The entry immediately below this is the birth of her grandson! She became a mother and a grannie within 6 days! It pays to be nosy. I'm loving this game!! Terry

Hi Terry Your as bad as me! I have often thought about these extra entries that you get on the page, perhaps some clever person could set up somewhere where we could share these? (or are we not allowed to?) I personally must have have in excess of 150 death/birth/marriage certificates and census's for scotland

Willow the wisp That is a good idea - don't know how though. I sometimes see offers in Family History mags for extra certs but you can't guarentee getting published. Terry
