Gedcom question Sorted Thanks

Sorry if this has been asked before, but looked at all the gedcom questions and answers and it would take me ages to find the right answer. Question is if I load a Gedcom from FTM will it over ride my Genes tree or just add to it. Thanks sue

The GR instructions for loading a GEDCOM make it clear that the old GR data is deleted before loading the new data from the GEDCOM. Back in the mists of time you had to physically delete your tree before loading a new one. J
