WW1 Soldiers Records Online??

Hi I read that the the surviving service records of WW1 soldiers is being put online in a Sunday newspaper two weeks ago on Ancestry but still cannot yet find them. Does anyone know a definate date when they will be online though please? Ben |

Benjamin Will you please do something about the 1911 census thread you have on records board. It's going nowhere and frankly it's annoying to keep seeing people adding to it. The 1911 will take until 2012 to film and transcribe, and that will be pushing it to get it ready in time. Please Please Please delete the thread. |

Benjamin this has been quite well documented over the past two weeks or so and it was an editorial slip up - it's not going to be on-line until much later in the year, if not 2007 (or later if they don't get their act together!!). But when it does go on-line it'll be ggrrrreeeeaaaaaatttttt!!!!! |

I'm guessing the WWW 1 soldiers online (remembering that 2/3rd of the records were destroyed) will be up and running before the 1911 census! nell |
