Ancestry - please can anyone tell me where I am going wrong. I am trying to find a birth in 1919 and the records are all 1911 and before. What am I doing wrong? Many thanks Tina

there are two databases, you are looking at the partial images which only go to 1911. You need the full images which are for 1837-2004,select the full images from the homepage on ancestry (top section of homepage) Glen

Tina BMD's have been transcribed up until about 1911, it is an ongoing project. If you want BMD's after this date you need to trawl through the records on Ancestry quarter by quarter. If you tell me who you are looking for I will take a look. Georgina.

You are doing nothing wrong. For 1919 you will have to look at images

I don't know but are you perhaps searching in the 'partial bmd' instead of the Full Bmd index? Dea x
