Birth weight or is it a birth time (?) on grandfat

Appears as 9b(l)? 45m pm Directly under December first. A Scottish Cert issued in 1903 in the county of Lanark. Could this be a birth weight or time? Thanks.

I guess it was a note ( although they are usually in the index) made by the registrar as a correction. gfailing that , ws he a twin - they sometiomes show the birth TIME to denote the older twin

Thanks. It appears in the 'Where and when born column' directly under date but before the location (Barracks, Merryhill, Glasgow). I think it says 9h. 45m pm. So it looks like a time.

Julia I'm sure I read somewhere that all times are recorded for births occuring in Scotland. And it's important to know which 'multiple' is to inherit that castle and loch Michelle
