Has anyone received an email today about the new Family tree function on Ancestry?it looks really good and you can link the census's too it etc I uploaded my tree, thinking whatever I update on this I can export the same as GR, but I dont think thats the case? What does everyone else think? or has anyone else seen this on Ancestry and know if you can export your file ? Thanks Claire |

Hi Gill, Apologies, didnt see your thread. Mine uploaded ok, within seconds, I did it though the email link. The program itself look really good because you can link all sorts of info and it does the searches for you, but not a lot of good I dont think if you cant export it! Claire |

Yes i tried through the e-mail link, did you upload from a family history program or just a file on your desk top iv tried both. Gill |

Gill I saved my FTM file as a gedcoom on my desktop and downloaded from there. Try that see it it works. Claire |

Thank's Claire i will try that, it's so frustating it looks like it's happening and says on the screen it's uploading but i left it for an hour the other night and nothing happened. Gill |
