Hi, Could anyone tell me what it says alongside Edward Davison for 'Where Born'. It looks like Silver Town, London. Also can anyone make out what is written between the names of Edward Davison and John Davison. RG13/2809 Folio 59 Page 12 Many thanks Paul

Well, yes definitely Silver Town London (Essex). The writing - well its a puzzle - looks to me like 'Inspection for Business' but why on earth it should say that and should be stuck between two kids names just doesnt make sense!

Hi Heather Thanks for confirming the Silver Town bit. I'll have to google and see where that was. The bit in the middle between the names I could not make out at all, so many thanks once again. Bye Paul

Im bumping this in case any one else can read that writing between the boys' names. Silver Town still exists by the way! Anyone have a go at the writing between the names as what I think just doesnt make sense.

The interpolated bit has something to do with the cods-up the enumerator made of the sequence of house numbers. There's a similar cock-up on the previous page. I think there's something odd about the street numbering. More Hogsnorton than Kings Norton. J

Well, basically it looks like you can just ignore that writing Paul
