want to re-register with out paying as i had to change my email address and cant recieve any inquires that iv posted through my old address many thanks bacardi x |

hiya, can you not access ancestry with yoru old email accont and then change details in your account??? ie change to new email? i did and now i get all my mail to my new account. HTH Julie or email them explaining what has happened, i'm sure they'll put it right |

You should be able to change email address to your new one - I've just done that - I know what you mean tho I originally did a 2 week free trial under my main email address so when I got the free 3months via FTM they wouldn't let me register with my main email, so I set it up using my work email, which of course long term not such a good idea, so left it a month or so and have now successfully changed my email over to home one - you go to profile bit and in there on the right hand side are edit buttons - they then send you an email to the new one asking you to click on a link which then confirms your email has been changed, is working Ok cos I've rec'd email from both Ancestry and contacts via Ancestry - so give it a go Gill :)) |

Bacardi Does your supplier not allow you to have different email addresses with your internet connection? For intance, I am with ntl and I get about 12 different addresses of my choosing, which means everyone in the family can have their own different email address and still have quite a few left over. Can you not just make a new email address and use that one? Snowdrops |

many thanks for your help will give all your ideas a try i changed my email on here and on friends which was easy but couldnt see how to change it on ancestry bacardi xxx |

hiya, when you go into ancestry, at top you will see your login name, near that you will see 'yoru account' that is where you need to be, admittedly the wording could be bigger, but once tyou know where to look is easy, (top right hand corner) HTH Julie |
