There is someon who sells postcards of old churches. I just bought 2 postcards of the church my mother was christened in. |

Have you tried GENUKI I have found loads of churches via that site. Find the area you are interested in and it will name the churches. Regards Jeanie A. |

Hi There it might be worth going to a local library (or seeing if anyone can for you) as they normally have books showing the area in bygone days, maybe something will be in there Vikkix |

Also see Glen's thread on pictures, up the top at the mo - this is a web page that shows lots of England pictures, I checked out Essex, (cos that's where i live!) and saw several pics. of church's you may be lucky on the London bit - Gill :)) |

Have you looked on this site http://www.victorianlondon.org/ as there is a section on religion and churches have not looked extensively but you may find the one you are looking for. Gwen |
