I managed to download mine yesterday and must admit I am quite impressed. My subscription expires within the next couple of days, so it may not do me any good. Lynda x

I received an email from them telling me about the new options and I was tempted to transfer my tree on to the site but was concerned that as I have living rellies in mine was not keen to do as I am assuming everyone has acess to it? Gwen

I think you have to designate who can view it, but I may be wrong. Lynda x

Ive briefly read the email and it seems to suggest that unless you specify you dont want the world to see it, they will. You can tick a box which says not for general view when you get to the upload stage. However it does say that the separate names will be available with dob and pob - so Im not sure I really want to add mine.

Agree with Heather, think our info. will be there for all to see in some form or another, plus I think if you don';t renew you wont beable to see or add to - but haven't actually seen anthing about that - has anyone else?? Am going to leave mine off there, same as here if anyone asks nicely enough and you feel there is a connection you can swap info. via this webiste - certainly cheaper @ £9.95 pa. to the £70 to stay on Ancestry full sub!!! Gill :))

I have my tree on rootsweb world connect. When you download you can choose to have no living showing. This also appears on Ancestry. Jeanie A.
