I'm going to have to go to bed now! Can't keep eyes open and Husband has started telling the time aloud - always a bad sign! I think you're in for the long trawl, otherwise... putting in minimal info (e.g. 1st name, year of birth ±1, and part PoB: 'bethn*') and looking in the list of hits for oddities which could be yours. good hunting! By age 18-ish, he could have gone to sea or be a soldier away abroad somewhere? Have you tried any of the sites which might turn him up? Kevin Asplin's for the soldiers, and Documents Online / National Archives for the sailor? Christine |

I think so I have also been trying to find a death for him between the 1891- 1901 census and came up with nothing so far. I cannot think where else I can look for him? He would have been 19 so I would expect him to be married or dead is that a good assumption? Gwen |

Are you confident that he would be on the 1901 census somewhere? Christine |

I am trying to find John Wyatt born 1882 Bethnal Green on the 1901 census. I have his family on the census RG13, Piece 285, folio 54, page 23, schedule 178. some of the brothers are missing from this census but I have managed to find them as they married and are living with their own families but I am unable to find John. Any search ideas for ancestry welcome. Gwen |
