Thanks Nell. I've looked on 'familysearch' but no records on there. I'll try Google but I suspect I will get confused by the colossal amount of links for Anglo-Italian Genealogy! Thanks again Hayley

His birth/baptism might be on www.familysearch.org Or google 'Italian genealogy' or see if there's an Anglo-Italian society that might help. nell

Hi I'm looking for help as to how I can find out where my g-g-g grandfather came from in Italy. I have his name (Frederic Sido), his marriage certificate (he was married in Liverpool) and his father's name (Nadola Sido). My family believe he came from Florence, how can I find this out if I don't know the name of the comune he was from? Thanks, Hayley
