I have been searching for the marriage of my g grandmother and father, and do you think I can find it?????? If anyone has a little time to spare and help a poor, elderly, going senile gentlelady, I would very much appreciate it...(Who said I was a creep?????) They are... Amelia Jennings and James Hadley, married 1855 in the Poplar/Bromley area of Middlesex. In anticipation I say a very big thank you. Kathlyn

Could they have been married in a different year? There is an Amelia Jennings married in 1854 and only one other person on the page (which isn't James Hadley!) but this could just mean that the index isn't complete yet.

To all you fantastic members who have sent me messages re. Amelia and James, I say a very big thank you. I do have all the census info it is only the marriage that I am unable to locate. I suppose they could have just 'lived together', but knowing the upstanding morals of all branches of my family, I think that would be a no no. I will have to plod on in the hopew that I will locate it some day!!! Once again, many thanks to you all. Kathlyn
