im so glad i read this thread, my gt grandfather is a journeyman tailor and i thought it meant he travelled around with his work how wrong was i oops Stacy |

A journeyman is a phrase from the French 'jour' meaning paid daily. He was qualifed, but not a master, who would be able to employ apprentices. nell |
