The closer in time to today, the more difficult it is to get records. If you could find out where she was christened, sometimes the priest put down the name of the father. She could ask social services for her records and it might be on there. Jeanie A. |

I am trying to tracy my mother-in-laws family but with no luck as yet ! She was born out of wedlock in Ireland in the 1930's and was brought up in a home run by nuns, is there any way of tracing her records as she does not know who her father is! Any response would be greatful Louise x |
