You could try the overseas births on 1837online, or, if you are a subscriber to Family relatives, the overseas stuff is FREE on their site! Merry

There is a section on the GRO site.home page under RESEARCH for finding overseas records. http://www.gro.gov*uk/gro/content/ (replace * with a .) Hope this helps :) Ann
