M and W could easily be misread on a census. Have you looked for his birth registration? This is more likely to have his full names than a census entry. nell

Raymond Have you tried the 1861 & 1871 yet? It may throw up his full name? If not, find his birth and send for his birth certificate to confirm his names. I wouldn't worry too much about the initials being incorrect - I've had far worse! Debby

Can someone please tell me if this is a mistranscription please. Ancestory. Com In1851 Wales Census I have a Thomes WW Cradduck aged 3yrs c1848----born Chepstow Monmouth Wales. HO 107/2443 folio 70 In 1881 Wales Census I have Thomes MW Cradduckc1848-- born Chepstow Monmouth Wales RG11/5186 folio 14 Page 27 I have been trying to do my search through Thomas MW but getting nothing but Thomas WW. What am I to believe MW orWW.
