I have been doing family research and only recently found out that I can go to two local libraries where I can get free access to Ancestry.com (including free access to e.g. census forms etc.) and other useful information. You only need to become a library member, which is free and off you go! |

It depemds on the libraries. Newcastle doesn't have Ancestry, but North Tyneside does have Ancestry.com. I plan to go and see whether I can get access to USA records. Anne |
