Hi Derek, As the others have already said, there is no Henry born c1880 in Berwick in census. There is a Henry T Johnston born Berwick, but c1870. This is the one Sheila found. Hi Derek, Can't find one born 1880, but there is a Henry Johnston, age 5 with a brother John Johnston age 10 months at Chirnside, Berwickshire. Parents John Johnston and Margaret.Only Henry in 5 year age range. Ring any bells? Joan

No, unlikely, as given as a scholar. To check - Father Andrew age 56; mother Jane age 50; brother George age 16; sisters Mary age 13, Madeline age 8. There are three under age 1 on the index, living in Glasgow, Fife and Glenorchy. Let me know if you want them looking up. Sheila

Derek Had a look, but nothing under Berwickshire at around 1 year old. However, there is an 11 year old living at 23 South St Duns, and I wonder if this is an indexing error. I've just run out of credits, but as I need more for what I am doing I will buy them and look at the actual census page - it is transcribed, but I can see what it says. Back shortly. Sheila
