hiya, you cannot get a marriage cert before 1837, as records didnt begin until late 1837, and even then, some registrations didnt happen until 1875 when it became compulsory, what you can do however, is to get a copy of the marriage entry in the Parish register, if you know the parish/area, email or goto the local studies library in question, and ask them to copy it for you, will only cost a small amount, and some dont even charge, hope this helps with your query Julie |

good morning all can someone tell me please, if i only know the date and month of a marriage and parish, can i send for a cert i dont know page or vol number. someone on this site found this info for me. |
