Took out the £50 yearly offer earlier this year think I`ve more than used my share in a few months, latest offer £10 unlimited access to 1861 and 1891 census with access to another two in the Autumn I`m well pleased with it all filling lots of gaps on Births marriages and deaths and the Census pages when you think its 3 units to view an item. normally I `m using the units I had left over when I took out subscription on the Living Relative Boards think 5 units for these and the Military Boards.,

Also, the way I read it, it does NOT include the Military + overseas records.!!!!! (It says you can use your existing credits to view those!!) Dea x

The 1837 offer does not include the 1901 Census, does Ancestry include the 1901 Census? Steve

I had an email about 2 months or so ago offering me unlimited access to a BMDs for I year for £50. I must have spend well over £100 in the last year already looking for info. (£10 soon got used up.) I quickly took up this offer and I found that the pages I wanted were missing on Ancestry/BMD. As I'm due to retire this year I'm going to look up EVERY BMD that I want and then order at my leisure!

Mavis I wouldn't pay for both but my Ancestry subscription has just run out so I'm debating. I think 1837 will eventually have everything Ancestry has so might go for it. As Keith says mmmmmmmmmm! Debby

If you've already paid for Ancestry, anyone reckon it's worth paying for 1837 online as well? Mavis

Me too. Am just weighting it against Ancestry. No VAT to pay 1837 but for Ancestry you add VAT. Mmmmm! Thinks. :-) Keith

Just had email saying unlimited access for £65 for year - 1861 to 1891 census with 2 more shortly (assume 1841 & 51) All BMD's Military & Overseas deaths Looks like a bit of competition for Ancestry! Debby
