Before I carry on I know some polite and helpful person will email me saying I should try the Trying to find board - The air in my room is blue with expletes after I HAVE TRIED to add to the Trying to find Board. A friend of my mum has asked me to try and find her family in wales. The names are Simon and Sarah Hill. They had 8 children ( afew of the names my mums friend can remember of the children are: Agnes, Emris (male), William, Frank and Mary. Her mum's name was Agnes who married a Lovell). Sarah would ave been about 70/80 in 1957 and would have passed away by now but if I could find her family it would help me alot. The last address my friend has for the family is: 40 Ruby Street, Rothcardiff, Wales. They would have lived there in 1957. Please if anyone could constructively help me I would be really grateful Regards Penny |

In order to add to the Trying to find board you need to add these people to your tree. You can then add the message and delete them off your tree. Stupid, but that appears to be how it works. Other than that you can ask for current electoral roll look ups and/or phone directory. But Hill is a relatively common name and of course they may have moved anywhere since the 1950s. If they are relatives and your friend is really genuine about contacting them, she could consider the government Traceline service. It costs, but they will forward a message from her to these folk if they can be found. |

The other way to add to the trying to find board is: Go to the board, Put in a search for the name you want, Get up the results, then click on find............... and it will let you add a message. Dea x |

Friends Reunited site shows people living at 35,..36,..and 41 Ruby Street, Roath, Cardiff around 1957. It might be worth contacting any of them incase they remember the family. Gwyn |
