Genealogy Chat

Now I believe in ghosties (my hubby thinks im totally nuts) I never had grandparents and always felt a little upset as id have loved them when I was growing up (my mums a fantastic nanna to all her grandkids n great grandkids) So I think mmmmm im gonna try find my grandads grave (he died in 1941) so off I trots to the graveyard I think he's burried (no ones told me hes there just had a strong feeling about it in Nottingham theres loads n loads of graveyards) I walk up and get a weird feeling up ahead that someone is waiting for me near some trees!!!!!!!!!!!! as I get level with the trees the feeling gets stronger, I walk past said trees and the hairs on the back of my neck go beserk im also full of goosebumps even tho its a red hot day. as im walking up the hill I feel as tho someone is following me and I keep catching something out the corner of my eye, but when i turn round no ones there. How weird is that!!!!!!!!!!!! has anyone else had this or am I truly nuts like my hubby says lol. Luv Angie xxx

On my birthday this year I hummed and harred about buying GGM death cert..... Finally I succumbed (sp??) When it arrived I found that she had died exactly 100 years before on my birthday this year. I wonder if she was giving me a little nudge..

Thats so weird Sharon When I started this in 1999 (had to give up as became very ill with cancer back then and only restated my search this may) anyway because my dad was adopted in 1937 back in 1999 Nottingham office wouldnt give me dads birth cert (laws have now changed thank god loL) so off I trotted on 21st June 1999 to the main office in London (but it was closed grrrrr) so checked into a hotel and went back the next day. Not so weird hey but then I found my cousin Jackie (my dads real neice) in may this year and guess what my real Uncle her dad who had sadly died in Nov 1998 his birthday was 21st June spookie or wot.
