!!!!!! UPDATE AFTER TWEAK !!!! Brother Robert is a medical student. Henry looks to be student master, something I can't be sure of which could be roll, then could be acting BTW - have you submitted a correction to get them changed from BICE to PRICE?? |

Thankyou Jools I contacted Ancestry fifteen times about a missing image in the 1841 census but have had no reply or comeback, so I don`t bother now. Thanks for your help. Keith |

I think that Henry is A Student Master Nat. school I have seen similar scribble elswhere I agree that francis is an articled clerk. I hope this helps.Jim |

N. Woseler beats Uttoxeter as a birthplace - transcribers please take note! First word definitely Student. Second word looks more like Mentor. Is the third word an abbreviation? Seems to have a full stop after it. Last word could be Actor or Acting or something else. I've reported the image as unreadable. J |
