Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 65 Send Message	I am trying to decipher the occupation of Edward F Sampson,( b 1848) in the 1871 Census, then living in Bowden, Was he a senior student and Maths something at Christs' College, Oxford Are the underlined letters following this 'J B a ' ? & if so what could this mean? Any thoughts much appreciated Joan

	There is also an Obit in the Times 4th Oct 1918....this tells you all about him! Merry

Merry, however did you find that obit so fast? Joan
