for illigitimate children, add ahusband to a woman and call him unknown unknown, and add the children to that union ( although there was no union as such) second marriage/subsequent marriages , you can simply add partners to the woman and attribute offspring to him/them too, jess |

Thanks for asking this, I have the same problem so I'll be interested to see the response. I know how to add another spouse, but it's the children who don't have a known father that are the problem. Sue |

How do I use the Tree Builder to add illegitimate children (ie one parent unknown and born out of wedlock? Also, how do you enter second marriages? Many thanks for help from a newbie! |
