Genealogy Chat

Hi everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx im back again (thought youd got rid of me didnt ya lol) been a bit poorly and had a op now on the mend (till the hossy get hold of me again next week lol) thought id let every one know about where im at on my tree. I forgot if ive told ya I found my Uncle Lloyd :))))))))))))) ive now met him twice :))))))))) dad & Lloyd hadnt seen each other for 69yrs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so you can imagine what the reunion was like so very emotional. Dad was adopted at 6ys in 1937 I also discovered my Uncle Frank had passed away in 1998 which i was totally gutted about (dad had always told me about his 2 brothers Lloyd & Frank since I was a tiny nipper) I also found out my nanna had died in 1998. I have met my Auntie Christine (franks wife) and also my 5 cousins (franks kids) they are all fantastic we get on like a house on fire and seems like weve known each other all our lives not just a few weeks!!!! ) Another spooky thing is dad & Frank looked like twins (freaky or wot for both me looking at pics of frank and my cousins as thier dad is no longer with us) I had to laugh as they were all staring at my dad when they met him (the resemblance is truly amazing) I think the other Aunts & Uncle Mary Betty & David died when they were babies (tho till I get the 3 death certs ive sent for I cant say for sure they did so im keeping that info from both dad & Lloyd till I find out either way) The only missing link now is Sheila Webb b 1941 in Nottingham. I have no idea what happened to Sheila, she may have been adopted same as my dad or was placed into care like Uncle Frank & Lloyd were. Dad will be 75 on 6th August and Uncle Lloyd will be 74 in Sept so to find Auntie Sheila would be fanatstic (ive had to take a few weeks off cus I was just way to exhausted to sit and search as I usually do lol) So thats bout it thats where im at at the mo.
