Lords of the manor eh ??? thats definitetly right. all those variations I am surprised there are so many Goozees actually. Thanks very much I hope you are curtseying

Valerie I just googled ''surname goozee origins'' and there are some interesting results, this is one of them... Goozee Coat of Arms We have the name 'Goozee' in our database! Origins English Brief Family History Spelling variations include: Gossage, Gostage, Gorstidge, Gorstice, Gorstage, Gostige, Gossidge, Gossadge, Gossedge and many more. First found in Lancashire where they were anciently seated as Lords of the Manor. Some of the first settlers of this name or some of its variants were: settlers who were recorded from the mid 17th century in the great migration from Europe. Migrants settled in the eastern seaboard from Newfoundland, to Maine, to Virginia, the Carolinas, and to the islands. Georgina.
