i'm not sure who came back.....sorry on the u.s census it states that both ida's parents were from prussia.....but peters wife is english so he must of remarried+then they must of had another child as the youngests father is from prussia+mother from england rachie

You do realise that her birth may not have been registered at all? It wasn't compulsory to register births until 1875. However, you may find a baptism at the county record office. If you contact the record office they may do a look up for you - for a fee! Cheers, Horatia
