Hi all, Interesting...I havent seen a hot match or even notification of a new massage since May!. Two other people I notice aren't getting anything either and maybe a coincidence but we are all in Australia.....Only way I know of a message is by signing into the site every day. J.

No Hot Matches have arrived for me in this part of sunny Queensland. When/ if they arrive it would be interesting to have names that come after the letter C. Perhaps it's time to try some of the helpful tips people suggest. Kay

Just checked mine - one wasn't from a person as such - it was a web site addy - just looked at the site and there's 13,000 names on this guy's tree ..................... actually it might have been 30,000 ............. I didn't look that closely! Bev x

hiya, interesting theory that, dont suppose we'll ever know though, thought it might be alphabetical, but i always assumed, (oh yes i know its bad to do so) that all hot matches went out on same day, however, hmmn, as HM's go out every 14 days, makes you wonder, i think i deleted my email from gr now as to when i had me last lot, i wonder???? julie

My hot matches were late as well. But I don't thimk that they are done alphabetically, as so far I've had mainly Smiths, with a few Clarkes and a Brown, very random, but no matches so far! Lynn

hiya clare, its something to do with hotmatches being done by the first 100 names, in alphabetical order, i think, no doubt some one will correct me, there is a way to get more of variation in Hot matching, and that is to go into your names, and add a character ie. $ or & something like that before surname, next time round, they shouldnt appear in hotmatch i think i got that bit right Julie

I only got my hot matches this morning, maybe they are doing so many a day? Does anyone know why GR would only hotmatch 1 surname in my tree and no other? I have 5 pages of Browns hotmatched and nothing else!! Thanks Claire

hellooooo, hmmmn I know we all moan about them, but i have had a few positive results from them, yes i mainly get 5 pages of crud, but out of it I can usually find 2 or 3 useful ones will have to wait and see Julie

Hi I know some have been sent,there was a thread about them yesterday (problems with matches to names not in trees etc) I cancelled mine after i got fed up with too many pages.GR was playing up on Thursday night,very slow again which usually means the servers are fit to burst. Glen
