Yesterday I joined Genes Reunited and asked about James Noble Nesbitt.Born abour 1847. I had some replies from very kind people but before I could reply to them they were deleted. Did I do something wrong. I am having trouble with my computer it keeps going off the internet and I have to redial. Been in touch numerous times with Orange but it is still the same. I am trying to find his mother's maiden name. His father was William a Boot maker born Alnwick his mother Barbara. Barbara is the one I am interested in. I rang Newcastle but they could not find James. They said he might have been born in Northumberland. Where is the best place to order a birth certificate as there seems to be different price. Thanking all who replied Marina |

Marina, When you say your messages were deleted - where were they deleted from? Do you mean messages in your message box, or on your thread? As you are new, it would be as well to sort this for you future reference, just in case you are not doing something quite right? Dea x |

I remember someone found this for you from the IGI James Noble Nesbitt Male Event(s): Birth: 1847 <Seghill, Northumberland, England> Christening: Death: Before SEP 1900 Burial: Parents: Father: William Noble Nesbitt Family Mother: Barbara - BUT - be careful as it is a record submitted by a member of the LDS so its accuracy is in doubt. |

Many thanks to all who replied. I am going to go to send for the Alwick one seems to be about right. £7 seems good had to pay £10 for the last one I sent for . My maiden name is Noble-Nesbitt and I am trying to find how we got a double surname. Think it may have come from a mother's maiden name. I'm really hooked on this now. Thanks to all Marina |
