Maureen Depending on what you want, you might find the records at Brough Local Studies Collection: 'A considerable amount of source material is held on microfim and microfiche, including census returns from 1841 and a complete run of the local newspaper, The Hexham Courant, from its first issue in 1864. Details of microform holdings can be found in the booklet Local Studies, available by post at £2.00 (inc. p&p) or by clicking the link above.
