Importing Tree to GR.. Help please

Hi Tracy If you are using FTM you need to Save/Export family file and save as Type from the pull down box as a GEDCOM file to a location of your choice, you cannot just rename a file as 'file title'.GED. This should then be accepted by GR. Regards David |

I have been neglecting putting info into my GR Tree I really have only basic info in there but have loads in my FTM. I wanted to export from FTM and put info to here. But it wont let me.. Says It is the wrong file name. tried calling it updated.GED etc.. I'm not great with computers anyone any tips in easy english. Given up for the night. Thanks for any help.. Tracy |
