Ancestry if I download a Gedcom as a Zip File woul

You can open a zip file with windowsXP and extract the information onto your computer. If it is a GEDCOM file you would then be able to import it into FTM or similar. Hope that helps Mark |

Zip files are compressed, so they take up less room, but are unreadable. Gedcom is also unreadable - you need to import it into family tree software to read it. nell |

I found a whole lot of stuff on a rellie been put on Ancestry it says you can download a full as a Zip File would I be able to open this to read it, or if not could I import into my family tree thanks |
