I think I must have been having a dizzy spell, when I said last night that I was finding ancestry OK........I can't find a thing. There use to be two ways to Search.....can anybody tell me where the other one is please?...or how to do it. Can someone please tell where or how you put the District in to Search. ........There's a hell of a lot of trialing to do with just the County. Jean |

oh sorry...yes Heather, I think it's town not district.......I can't remember, 'cos it's not there. ...Has it gone for good...because if it has that's a stupid move. Also the other type of search is missing......I can't remember what that was called either......I've got the right name ...lol |

Jean You can put in a search name and when it comes up with the results, you can scroll down and refine search by putting in the parish or place, or putting a placename in the keyword box. nell |

Thanks for that Helen but I've just tried it and my 'refine search' box is exactly the same as my 'search' box...must be something wrong. I'll reboot and seem if it changes. |
