Have you checked the IGI www.familysearch.org very few parish registers are online other than this. Be aware it is far from complete

Thanks Margaret, I tried this and Hugh Wallis today. I don't know if it is the heat or if I just am no good at web sites but I got nowhere. Went off for a walk before I screamed! Ah well, tommorow is another day. Regards TGx

Nothing on the IGI There is very little for Ramsgate listed on Hugh Wallis site. You need to check the parish registers out out the Kent county record office, or ring or email them and ask how much they charge to look it up for you. addresses on www.genuki.*co.uk remove *

Ramsgate library was completely destroyed by fire and they lost their archives so you'll have to look elsewhere for Ramsgate records - if they exist. Have you tried the Society of Genealogists catalogue SOGCAT on their website to see what they hold? Janice
