Looking on Ancestry at the 1891 census now that they have changed it i am confused. Before it said Annie E Whitehead 19 Armstrong Whitehead 15 Arthur Whitehead 13 George W Whitehead 23 Robert Whitehead 5 Selina Whitehead 17 Which ties up wth the information i have now it says Annie E Whitehead 19 Armstrong Whitehead 15 Arthur Whitehead 13 George W Whitehead 23 Robert Whitehead 5 Selina Whitehead 17 Eliza Witchard 49 Harry Witchard 24 Robert Witchard 52 I am unsure as to who the extras are. On my tree i have searched for the mothers maiden name and it is Armstrong so that doesn't tie them in. When i am clicking on a Whitehead and view the original peice the Witchards aren't on the page and vise versa. But they both lived at the same address. Is there a valid reason for this? I do have an Elisa Whitehead on my tree but i believe she was born 1866 which would make her about 25. Thanks Jen

Have you looked at the actual image to see who appears on that? Sam x

Hi Sam i have looked on the image and if i am on a Whitehead then it only states all of the Whiteheads but if i am on Witchard then it only opens Withchards it is like they did 2 census's in that house and whiteheads/witchards moved in/out. Jen

These people are on consecutive pages! The ones listed as Witchard are actually more Whiteheads, but they are mistranscribed. The Head of House is Robert aged 52.....everyone else is part of his household, with most of them on the following page. the reason you don't have all of them from your earlier version of the 1891 census, is that you have only collected the names from the second of the two pages!
