just been on ancestry to look at 'my ancestry' to check names in 'people I'm looking for' and guess what, they're not there any more, because ancestry no longer support this option. Six months work down the drain, thanks Ancestry for letting me know what you were going to do........not. Look like starting again and saving in the shoebox, good job all the rellies are on my tree

Don't know what's happened to your ancestry, but when I clicked on My Ancestry tab I got my shoebox, recent searches, and everything! nell

yes got those but not 'people i'm looking for' tab which according to the help section they no longer do

I've just looked for my 'People I'm looking for' and your right they are not there. However if you click on My Alerts you should find them there. At least that's where I found mine. Wendy

Mine are all gone too!!!!!! P A N I C - I only just entered a tip on here asking if I could copy them over to harddrive as I've got about 120 entries in there and can't bear to start all over again!! Only have the shoebox, tried the alerts thing that someone suggested but only have shoe box - will keep watching for some kind soul to advise - am just off to fire of email to Ancestry - for all the good that will do!!! Have sent email to Ancestry - Elizabeth did you have anything in your People I'm Looking for bit?? If so are they still there - Ive got 5 pages of shoe box,but all old stuff and what I've done this morning,since this morning can only save to either a tree or the shoe box - I don't keep my tree on here, and have only recently started using shoe box for rellies, I think may be possible ones - am off to search threads that may include phone number for Ancestry - they should have warned us to move them if these are being removed completely - I suspect they want us to keep trees on Ancestry that is why they have removed the other opton. Gwynne's the HERO!!!! Go to your profiles, at bottom it shows Research Interests - click on that one I got under People I'm Looking For - you have not added any peoople you're looking for that are publicably viewable - then hit edit on the right hand side - this is second button up - it then loads new page and theya re all there - an now off to nudge my questions how can I save my Ancestry in 1 go to my desktop on PC????? If anyone knows please tell me - thanks again Gwynn I will now go and have lunch have been panicking for last 45mins!!! They could have told us... Gill

Meant to add there is now a nice little tree added for us to include them direct into your tree, so I think my earlier thought was correct they are trying toget us to use their tree prog. So we now need to save everthing to shoe box - well I think so cos haven't beenable to save to my ancestry this morning, lets hope they don't take away save to PC !!!!!! Gill
