When entering my ggg grandfather and mothers name into my family tree on GR I have somehow managed to sandwich a box with Mother printed in it between the two names. I have tried to delete it but it won't let me. Am I stuck with my tree like this or is there a way to get rid of the unwanted box. Hope this makes sense! Thanks Clare |

Clare Not sure I understand what you have done, but generally if you want to delete someone on your GR tree you have to delete any children attached to that person first. |

Thanks Helen, I'll give that a try. |

The relationship should be the marriage between the 3xg grandparents?ie your 3xg g/f and 3xg g/m? I suspect that you have added a parent to a child they had, then added a partner to that parent. The relationship shows on the tree as parent and step parent. Once you have managed to remove the 'wrong' name, try adding them as another parent to the same child as before. Glen |

Success, the box has gone, now all I have to do is put in the children back in again. Thanks for your help Helen. Clare |
