Now I know they were called Williamson because Isabella Alice Austin Williamson was my gt grandma. Were they hiding from somebody do you think ??? So, do you mean that Charles Austin Williamson was the father of the Charles born 1880? If so, what other family members are there in this household? If we have his wife's name and age we might be able to pinpoint them on earlier census records for you.

Traced the address on the 1901 of the death cert of Charles Austin Williamson. Found on 1901 census RG 13 3991 98 20 at 32 Lune Terrace Lancaster. Family transcribed as AUSTIA. This gives head of household as Charles age 53 Gargrave, Yorks.

Can anyone help ? Williamson family on long vacation, I think. I have a child born 1880 think Skipton Yorkshire called Charles Williamson and he died 1898 in Lancaster aged 17. He nor his family can be found on the 1881 1891 or 1901. Tried all variations on ancestry. What am I doing wrong ? Joan in a tizz.
