*smile* - well thank you. I do have two questions tho. James's first wife was Ann Elizabeth Cook whom he married in September 1851 - who is Ann Preen who married James Heaven in 1852???? I'm thinking it must be a different James Heaven, as mine was born in Uley, Glouc. Also, I have his 2nd wife as Sarah Jane Cook - so is it really Sarah Wootton? Maybe I have the wrong surname? Thanks for you help anyway. I'm trying to locate relatives in New Zealand, as I understand some of them moved there. Judy

Sorry Jood I didn't mean to muddy the waters I didn't see the 1851 marriage I saw Gloucs for 1852 and jumped too soon As for Sarah Wootton I was unable to find her on a previous census and I may have another red herring there but cannot find a marriage for Sarah Cook was she a relative of Ann E?

We often wondered if Sarah was a relative of Ann Elizabeth Cook, but she purportedly came from Eldersfield, and Ann came from Overbury. I have no idea how far these are from each other. Ann's parents were John & Mary Cook. I'm having a bit of trouble with Sarah's family - I seem to have lost some stuff. I did have her as a 9yo before she was married, but can't find parents now as I dont have Ancestry. I'm really trying to find out what happened to Sarah's children as I believe that she/some of her children, came to NZ. Thanks again. Judy
