I am currently having a conversation with someone on MSN we are searching the same family..... We have both entered Noble for surname and Whitby for Residence. Nothing else. I'm getting 15 results on exact search he is getting 80 something. On Ranked search I am getting the same 15 that i get on exact search. Any ideas anyone? Sorry this is for 01 Cen |

I get 15 hits if I put Whitby in the Town box and 31 matches if I put it in the Civil Parish box. That's both on Exact match. Merry |

tracy if you do that you should get people that were born or are living in whitby. |

Right... Got that sorted thanks.. I was putting Whitby in residence instaed of birth place, but another mystery if you notice the first hit on birth is an Ada who lives and was born in Whitby but she doesn't show in just a residence search. Well she does but way down the bottom of second page. |
